About the artist

Danielle Muller - Self Portrait My name is Danielle Muller. I live in Long Island, New York with my husband, three children and two cats. When I am not playing "funny face" with my giggling daughter, walking barefoot on the beach with my two sons looking for beach glass, or assisting my husband with the tasks of running our custom closet manufacturing business, I can be found rummaging through boxes at local estate sales searching for special treasures to use in my artwork...vintage sheet music, old buttons in jars, or bits and pieces of broken jewelry. What excitement there is in finding these priceless remnants from a life past, and to be able to give them new life! Honoring the past by uniting it with the future. Memories that will live on.

From my earliest recollections, I have always been fascinated with God's creation...the delicate fronds of a fern, the billowy petals of a peony and the luminous colors of a dragonfly wing. Having been inspired deeply by my mother, she herself a gifted artist, I have embarked on a journey. This journey is one of discovery and one of great joy. The joy of expressing one's self through art. The joy of knowing you have made someone smile. Thank you for sharing in this journey with me.
